Todd Allen

Another Langley High School graduate, Todd Allen has lived in Northern Virginia communities including McLean, Arlington, and most recently, Leesburg, for over 20 years.  The decision to partner with Chris Bass in Langley Realty was an easy one, when the brokerage’s mission includes not only advocating for our clients but for the community as a whole.  Todd’s experience with the real estate industry, including appraisal, settlements, and sales in local counties encompassing Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, Fauquier, Culpeper, Albemarle and even Montgomery and Prince George in Maryland give him a multi-faceted knowledge base that is unique among realtors. Aside from offering his clients a wealth of experience, Todd immerses himself in the specific needs of his clients in order to provide them exemplary service tailored to their individual situations.  When you hire Todd as your Real Estate professional, his time and resources are dedicated to serving you.

As a former Realtor with the largest National franchise, Todd achieved sales growth year after year, even with the recent fall of our local market, earning him Sales Club awards within his own brokerage and entrance into the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors’ (NVAR) Multi-Million Dollar Sales Club.  As a Realtor, Todd has successfully negotiated a multitude of real estate transactions, including residential, land, and commercial sales; new home construction; and financially distressed sales.  Todd’s well-rounded experience also includes the appraisal side of real estate, having worked as an appraiser on transactions including resale homes, new construction, investment, mortgage refinancing, and estate planning.  Properties included in Todd’s appraisal portfolio include condos, single-family homes, land, and multi-family dwellings from Baltimore City, Maryland, to Charlottesville, Virginia.  In addition, Todd offers his clients knowledge and experience on the settlement side of the industry, having learned the ins and outs of an aspect of the real estate transaction that is very confusing for most.  Finally, Todd offers his clients a comprehensive list of trusted contractors to handle the endless possible issues that can arise from a real estate transaction.  Whether it’s assistance with financing the purchase of your home (or refinancing your existing home), building a beautiful custom home, major renovations, small handyman jobs, landscaping, moving services, or house cleaning, Todd’s tried and trusted contacts are at your disposal.

Outside of his professional life, Todd contributes to charities and community enhancement with projects like sponsoring and coordinating an annual Charity Golf Tournament, which has supported worthy causes including the Virginia Tech Hokie Spirit Memorial fund, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Washington DC Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Children’s Miracle Network of Northern Virginia, and The Northern Virginia Therapeutic Riding Program.  With Lewinsville Presbyterian Church in McLean, Todd has also lent his time and resources on week-long trips for Habitat for Humanity, building houses for needy families.  In addition, Todd sponsors a community-supported local agricultural program, which benefits local chapters of the Tree of Life food banks.

On a personal level, Todd enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, and their three young and energetic boys, Sam, Zach, and Drew (the latter of whom are twins).  Recently, his oldest boy came of age for a mini-soccer league, and Todd has enjoyed his newfound role as a “soccer dad.”  As a past member of the Langley High School golf team, Todd still loves to play golf, though there are much fewer hours available to play than in those early days!  Also at Langley, Todd was a varsity baseball player, and he still logs time on the field by playing softball on a local men’s team.  He enjoys working on his family’s 400-acre dairy farm in Brandy Station, Virginia, and taking family vacations in the mountains of Western North Carolina, the Outer Banks, and the Florida Keys.
